We’ve got lots to shout about this month, here at WMB Group. The company is going from strength to strength, we’ve got some exciting events lined up that we’re either delivering bikes for or even riding in ourselves, and we’ve continued to expand with some fantastic new recruits!
Check Before You Ride!
First and foremost, we’ve got a new, exciting video! You heard it here first!
‘Check Before You Ride’ is episode one in our new series ‘WMB Guide To Biking’, focusing on what you need to check on your bike before you saddle up and ride into the wind.
Things you’ll want to check, for example, would include cleaning your number plate and lights, checking your coolant and testing your chain tension. Watch the new video below to see all of our tips and a step-by-step guide on how to carry out a full check.
COMPANY NEWS
We’re pleased to be supporting Yamaha with their logistics for the 2018 Carole Nash MCN London Motorcycle Show at the ExCeL for the first time. We’ll also be transporting, delivering and collecting bikes for Bauer Media too, specifically for Motor Cycle News.

We’ve got a busy calendar ahead of us for 2018 already, and here’s a snippet at what’s to come over the next few months…
Carole Nash MCN London Motorcycle Show
16th – 18th February 2018, ExCeL London
With 10 trailers, we’ll be co-ordinating logistics from around the UK, collecting bikes and supporting equipment, and for some distributors we’ll also be on the show floor helping to valet and set up the bikes for display.
The manufacturers we’ll be collecting, delivering and returning bikes for include Harley-Davidson, KTM, Ducati, Suzuki, BMW, Triumph and Yamaha.
If you’re interested in seeing what we do at events like this, below is a video showing our involvement in Motorcycle Live 2017, where we delivered 260 bikes for six different manufacturers.
Ride of The Ruperts
13th May 2018, Sussex
Ride of the Ruperts is an annual event that welcomes all who ride to come along and ride in style on whatever bike they have. Wearing their finest dapper clothing, attendees can meet up with friends, all with the aim of raising money for the Movember Foundation.
200 bikes are estimated to take part in May on the ride in Sussex, designed to break up the wait between the annual Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride. It’s a long 12 months after all!
The event has been organised by our dear friend, Steve Morrell, which WMB Group is proud to sponsor, and our very own Director, Paul Lusty, is joining the ride himself to help raise further funds for a great charity.

WMB GROUP STAFF
As a first on the staff front, we’d like to congratulate our very own 007, James Bond!
Bond, James Bond, has worked with us here at WMB Group for many years as a professional event driver and now is furthering his career within our planning and logistics department. We’re thrilled that he’s made this decision and look forward to continuing to work with him.
With the company going from strength to strength, we’re also excited to announce the appointment of three new members of staff to our ever-expanding team.
Sam Kimberley is our new Warehouse Manager. He’s an expert in putting technology to good use in a warehouse environment and loves to spend his free time flying his remote-control helicopter or with his family.
Dave Burley is one of two new professional drivers that we’ve welcomed to the team. With over 20 year’s driving experience, Dave is a family man who loves spending time at home with his family, undertaking some form of DIY and cherishes his Scania truck.
Brian Kingsbury is the second professional driver that’s joined our team, also with over 20 year’s driving experience. Brian’s a big rugby fan, supporting our mighty Cherry & Whites (Gloucester) who enjoys a game of poker in his spare time.
