Since 2018, WMB Logistics has been proud to support Ashton and Ellis Bubb through long-term motocross sponsorship, backing the next generation of British motorcycle sport. This sponsorship is rooted not only in a shared love of motorcycles, but in a long-standing personal connection and a genuine desire to give something back to the sport.
WMB Logistics Managing Director Tony Davis has known the Bubb family for many years and was close friends with Andy Bubb, Ashton and Ellis’s grandfather. That connection makes this sponsorship about far more than branding—it’s about continuity, commitment, and supporting young riders who embody the values WMB stands for.
Ashton Bubb
Ashton has been racing motocross since the age of six, following in his father’s footsteps and developing a lifelong passion for the sport. Last season presented a major challenge when Ashton suffered a serious injury, including a fractured L3 vertebra and a bulging disc, which kept him off the bike for much of the year.
WMB’s continued sponsorship has played a key role in Ashton’s journey, allowing him to focus on performance while representing the brand professionally both on and off the track. With the confidence of knowing he has strong backing behind him, Ashton heads into each season prepared, motivated, and ready to compete.
Since then, Ashton has shown real determination, committing fully to recovery and strength training, spending countless hours in the gym to return stronger, fitter, and more competitive for the seasons ahead. Alongside his racing ambitions, Ashton is also completing an electrician apprenticeship, demonstrating the discipline and work ethic required to balance professional development with competitive sport.
Frequently highlighted as a rider “to watch” in national-level race previews, Ashton is often described as an assertive and competitive rider, with strong performances in tightly contested classes.
Ellis Bubb
Ellis began racing motocross at the age of nine and has been fully committed ever since, willingly giving up most weekends growing up to compete—something he never hesitated to do, driven by a genuine love for the sport. His passion for motocross runs deep within the family. Introduced to racing by his father, Jay Bubb, Ellis continues a legacy first started by his late grandfather, Andy.
That family foundation has shaped not only Ellis’s racing career, but also his approach to life. Alongside motocross, Ellis is a fully qualified carpenter and a proud father. Looking ahead, he hopes one day to share the track with his own son when he is old enough to ride.
WMB Logistics’ support has been instrumental in helping Ellis continue competing, and he is immensely proud to represent the brand. The partnership reflects shared values of hard work, reliability, and long-term commitment.

Motocross Sponsorship Built on Commitment
Motorsport at grassroots level relies heavily on dedication, family support, and the backing of businesses willing to invest in people, not just results. Supporting Ashton and Ellis is part of WMB Logistics’ wider commitment to the motorcycle community—a commitment built on authenticity, trust, and long-standing relationships.
As Tony Davis puts it: “It’s nice to show we are putting something back into motorcycle sport.”
WMB Logistics is proud to stand behind Ashton and Ellis Bubb and looks forward to supporting their continued progress on and off the track.
