Thousands of motorcycle fans descended on London’s ExCeL Centre last month over three days for The Carole Nash MCN London Motorcycle Show, and we were proud to be in attendance, having delivered the bikes for seven manufacturers (Ducati, Suzuki, Yamaha, Harley-Davidson, BMW, KTM and Triumph) and also for Bauer Media.
As with all of our shows, we’re proud to see every member of staff get behind the event – whether that’s from helping prepare the admin, travelling around the UK to collect and deliver the bikes, or even travelling to the ExCeL to be an extra set of hands onsite for building stands or moving and cleaning bikes.
We delivered and set up the bikes for BMW on the Wednesday, and then transported all of the remaining bikes on the Thursday. In total, we transported a total of 180 motorbikes, with the use of eight trailers.
It wasn’t just bikes that we moved though; we found ourselves moving a special collection of bikes that made up the Michelin Grand Prix collection that could be seen at the entrance of the show. The nine bikes featured in the Grand Prix all the way back to 1979, and belonged to Kenny Roberts, Valentino Rossi, Marc Marquez and more.
We also moved some of the bikes for Classic Bike’s Barn Find 2018. 10 bikes had made it through to the final, all being resto challenges, and it was down to the public to decide the best of the bunch.

We don’t just deliver and set up the bikes, we also clean them to ensure they’re showroom-spotless, and we do this using our premium range of motorcycle cleaning products – WMB Pride.
The range consists of Wash (to clean the bike), Shine (to make it shine like brand new), Revive (for use on the inside of helmets, boots, gloves and clothing) and Lube (for the bike’s chain).

So much work goes in behind the scenes, ensuring that all trucks are on the road when they need to be, are meeting collecting times and deadlines at the event. We then do it all over again at the end of the event; taking stands down, loading and returning bikes. It’s great to be there from start to finish.”

“You might not see WMB at the big motorcycle shows around the UK in terms of having a stand, but we’re always there. In the days leading up to the event, we’re transporting bikes for some of the biggest manufacturers, ensuring they arrive on time, look show-ready and to also help our clients wherever we can. For many, that’s just delivering, but for others we’ll get all hands-on deck to get stands set up and ready for the thousands who will shortly be flocking through the doors.”
