Originally from Devon but now firmly settled in Gloucestershire after more than 13 years in the county, Abi joins WMB Logistics with four years of professional HGV driving experience and a genuine passion for life on the road.
A Passion for Professional Truck Driving
Abi describes becoming a truck driver as “the best decision I ever made”, and it’s easy to see why. Professional driving offers independence, responsibility, variety, and the opportunity to become part of a close-knit company that values personality and professionalism in equal measure.
Abi has been allocated her own WMB-liveried Scania 560S, registration T18 WMB, a vehicle that certainly turns heads wherever it goes. Combining comfort, technology and serious road presence, T18 is a fitting match for a driver who clearly takes pride in what she does.
Leadership On And Off The Road
When she’s not behind the wheel, Abi’s competitive side comes out on the hockey pitch. She is currently the Ladies Club Captain of Gloucester City Hockey Club – a role that says a great deal about her leadership, commitment and team spirit. Those same qualities are hugely valued within the WMB Logistics family.
Away from work and sport, Abi is also a self-confessed fan of the summer months, admitting that if the sun is out, that’s exactly where you’ll find her. In this respect, T18 (as our social media fleet followers would say) is the perfect partner, being no stranger to warmer skies and long-distance journeys.
