Comprehensive Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI)
Every motorcycle undergoes a thorough pre-delivery Inspection, carried out in line with manufacturer specifications and industry best practices. Manufacturers often supply their own PDI checklists to ensure consistency and compliance with warranty requirements. At WMB Logistics, we follow a high-end 40+ point inspection process for all press and media fleet bikes — offering far more than a basic safety check.
Our detailed PDI process includes:
- Mechanical and electrical system checks.
- Safety inspections of brakes, lights, horn, and essential controls.
- Tyre pressure and tread depth verification.

Having worked in leading main dealerships and multi-franchise workshops, Colin brings an unrivalled depth of knowledge to WMB Logistics’ Press Bike Workshop. He is City & Guilds qualified and manufacturer-trained across several major brands.
Colin’s passion for motorcycles began early—riding from the age of eight and competing in off-road events by thirteen. His technical expertise spans motorcycle PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection), press bike preparation, scheduled servicing, cosmetic show detailing, accessory fitting, custom builds, full restorations, electrical diagnostics, race bike prep, and MOT testing.

Absolutely. Our GPS-tracked fleet and experienced motorcycle logistics team can deliver bikes across the UK and Europe, including direct-to-door drop-offs for media outlets, event venues, and magazine testers.
